The origins of firewalking date back to antiquity, where it was practiced in various cultures as a purification ritual. It was particularly widespread among the Celts and Germanic tribes in Europe as well as in Asia, Africa and South America. <\/p>

Firewalking can be done in different ways, depending on the type of fire used. Some walk over glowing coals, while others walk over burning wood. In some traditions, the feet are soaked beforehand to prevent burns. <\/p>
